Goodbye Berlin!

It's hard to believe but it's time to come home. Our day started with a 2:30 am alarm. We were in the lobby by 3:30 having "coffee to go" (this is not normal over here!) The hotel had "bag" breakfasts for us since we would not get our buffet like the late departures.

Check in was a nightmare . . . About 80 of us plus a lot of others with 3 ticket windows. The last of our group finished check in right when they started boarding. A lot of may not even be sitting together on the long flight! Oh well. At this point we're just hoping we all have seats to get from Dusseldorf to Miami. On the plane now in Berlin waiting to depart. We have about an hour flight to Dusseldorf then the big flight to Miami . . . 10 hours 15 minutes!

So by the time we get home tonight at 10:24, it will feel like 4 am to us which means we will have been going strong for over 24 hours! Going to be a long few days ahead but worth it just to get home!

Huge thank you to Deron! I love you! He has had a full schedule to say the least since we left! I had no desire to go on this trip but he stood strong and meant it when he said it was my turn. I'm so glad I went. What an awesome experience to have with my boys. Having Gina with me . . . Well lets just say we laughed a whole lot!

We are on our plane ready to head for Miami!
